Though you will sometimes be exposed to higher tiers there is a little less pressure to be “front and center” when you are lower tier and it allows you to play more of a support role. With that said don’t be afraid to linger in the tiers instead of charging through them as fast as possible. Signals are too precious to burn in a game mode where you should be able to beat bots while blindfolded. India-Delta and India-Yankee ( -20% to fire duration) are absolute must-haves on battleships.Īnd for the love of Pete, never waste any signals in Co-ops. S-M is one of the most valuable and sought after, and expensive/hard-to-get signals in the game. Don't use S-M on slower ships as it will only yield an extra knot-and-a-fraction or so, and isn't worth spending the signal over. The only signal you really need to have on destroyers is Juliet-Charlie ( stops detonations), and maybe Sierra-Mike as well ( 5% increase in speed) on the fastest DDs. Exceptions are those with repair where using India-Delta ( 20% of HP recovered) comes in handy. Keep in mind that in some ships it isn't necessary to use any signal flags at all. Gonna run around nekid in the low tiers and save em up.
